Linux Infrastructure Specialist

Administer and optimize Linux servers to guarantee performance and stability. Open source mastery will be at the heart of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Automate administration tasks with scripts (Bash, Python).
• Optimize system performance and manage storage.
• Ensure security and updates of Linux systems.

Requirements

• Minimum THREE (3) years of experience as Linux infrastructure specialist.
• Good knowledge of various Linux OS.
• Experience with automation solutions (Ansible, AWX).
• Knowledge of monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix).
• Able to track performance (Grafana, Prometheus).
• Good knowledge of server management tools (Foreman, Satellite).
• Experience with log management infrastructures (Elasticsearch, Kibana).
• Knowledge of messaging tools (Kafka).
• Experience hardening Linux servers.
• Experience managing container infrastructure (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Good knowledge of Linux security practices.
• Knowledge of load balancers (BigIP, HAproxy).
• Ability to perform operational work.
• Ability to offer adequate customer service.
